ONE RECORD FOR THE EQUIPMENT YOU ISSUE
Bring identity, condition, documents, and workspace-specific information together before equipment changes hands.
Record an asset number, name, and description so similar equipment is easier to distinguish.
Attach purchase proof, warranty documents, and handover images to the asset record.
Use configured custom fields for the additional information your team needs.
An asset record documents your equipment. It does not automatically discover devices or calculate depreciation.
Laptop and charger issued together. Housing and screen checked at handover.
FROM AVAILABLE TO ACCOUNTABLE
Keep unissued assets visible and record who receives them, when they were issued, and when they are expected back.
Keep an asset unissued until you know who will receive it.
Record the recipient, issue date, and useful handover notes.
Add an optional due date for temporary equipment or a planned handover.
An assignment records custody. It is not a substitute for any separate employee acknowledgement required by your policy.
Laptop charger included. Existing asset documents stay with the record.
EVERY HANDOVER HAS A HISTORY
Keep issue, transfer, return, and reissue events with the same asset, so the current owner is not the only part of the story.
Capture the new recipient, event date, and handover remarks.
Follow how equipment moves out of one assignment and into the next.
Log damage or theft with the relevant date and remarks for review.
Lifecycle events are recorded updates, not live device telemetry. Access to changes follows your permissions.

A CLEARER END TO EVERY ASSIGNMENT
Record when equipment comes back, who receives it, and its returned condition before the next assignment.
Record the actual return date and the person who received the equipment.
Keep condition notes and handover remarks with the return.
Use outstanding assignments and return records as context for your employee exit process.
Outstanding or damaged equipment does not automatically create a payroll deduction. Any recovery needs a separate authorized process.
Card physically received by operations. No visible damage noted during handover.
This return does not finalize employee clearance or authorize a payroll adjustment.
PART OF THE EMPLOYEE JOURNEY
Bring asset custody alongside the people and work processes your team uses every day.
