Attendance Regularization
In simple words: Sometimes an employee forgets to punch in, the machine doesn’t work or the network fails. Attendance regularization is the way to fix the record afterwards. The employee requests a correction, and the manager approves it.
Example: Priya forgot to clock out yesterday. She raises a regularization request saying she left at 6:00 PM, her manager approves it, and her attendance is corrected.
Why it matters: Without a clear process, attendance gets corrected in a rush at month-end, and mistakes slip into payroll. A simple request-and-approve flow keeps records honest and saves HR time.
